Hells Bells – The ultimate tribute to AC/DC

Friday 3rd September 2010.

Since forming in 1996, Hells Bells have fast built a first-rate reputation as one of Britain's leading AC/DC tribute bands. This is not surprising given that they have an undisputed talent both as musicians in their own right and as polished imitators of the look and the sound of AC/DC. As a consequence, their success has grown every year, with the band playing to over 40,000 people at venues throughout Britain, Ireland, Slovakia and Russia. Due to their increased popularity among audiences the world over, Hells Bells have also expanded their tours, and added Portugal and Slovenia to their growing list of countries.

Hells Bells have a number of achievements that strengthen their position as a genuine and highly regarded tribute band, including headlining the main stage at the Bulldog Bash, which is the largest motorbike & music festival in Europe, where they played to a crowd of 9,000. They also performed at Oxegen in 2008, and were so popular that they were asked to return for the 2009 event.

Due to the high-quality of their performance, they have also shared the stage with a number of household names. Including Status Quo, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Company of Snakes and the Wilko Johnson Band.

The material in the show comes from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras, and covers four decades of classic rock ‘n’ roll with charisma and talent, Hells Bells are set to prove why they have been reviewed as “probably the greatest tribute to AC/DC in the universe” (GWR FM).

See Hells Bells play hits such as ‘Highway to Hell’, ‘Money Talks’ and ‘Back in Black’ at Newbridge RFC on Friday, 3rd September 2010. Tickets are now available and cost £10. For further information or to get your tickets call the Club on (01495) 243247.
