Ross Coombes has been named as the new captain for the new season. The popular back row forward will lead the club and will look to build on last season's excellent 2nd place finish. Former Merthyr product Coombes added 'I am hugely honoured to be the new captain for next season and cannot wait for the start of the season. Scott Marasco claimed the prestigious Player of The Year Award at the end of season dinner held at the club last Friday Evening. The popular second row scooped the award after his superb displays throughout last season. His ball winning ability in the boiler house, added to his mobility around the park were rich rewards for his efforts. Read the news

Silly costumes, inflatable games and plenty of water will all be part of an 'It's a Knockout' fundraising event to raise funds for St. David's Foundation Hospice Care.
The all-day event will see teams battle their way through hilarious games and challenges such as The Slippery Slope, Chicken Run, Walk the Plank, Soccer Shootout and Human Demolition.
